Californian pop singer/songwriter Nikki Paige channeled early personal adversity into an uplifting creative outlet, emerging from a self-destructive phase to claim her artistic identity through late-2010s singles including “Get Over It” and “Walk It Off.”

An Orange County native, she immersed herself in acting and dance throughout childhood yet ultimately gravitated toward singing as her central pursuit. Her first recordings explored dramatic pop laced with rock accents on numbers such as “Encore” and “Dreamz,” yet those efforts met with little notice. Following a descent into nightlife excess and inner conflict, she pivoted toward buoyant, affirmative pop, articulating the shift on the 2016 single “(Maybe) It’s a Sign.” She further contributed vocals to the club-oriented track “Why You Playing Me” alongside Barona and Bouvier.

The subsequent year brought “Get Over It,” which confronted inner struggles, along with “S.L.M.O.” In 2018 she appeared on several hip-hop cuts: “Thowowww” with Daz Dillinger and DJ Luke Nasty, “Under Nudge 1.0” by Lil Riche 92, and “End of the Day” with Four Finger Ring. She also released the buoyant “Walk It Off” and the island-tinged dance single “Ring Ring,” helmed by producer Brian Soko (Beyoncé, Lil Wayne).
