Biography
California-based duo Pacific Air crafts melodic, breezy indie pop. Brothers Ryan and Taylor Lawhon formed the project in 2012 under the name KOKO before uploading several self-recorded tracks to Bandcamp. Republic Records reportedly signed them one week after the songs surfaced online. To sidestep name clashes with multiple other groups, the siblings rebranded as Pacific Air and issued the EP Long Live KOKO that October. Their debut full-length album, Stop Talking, followed in 2013.
