Peter Manos, a singer and songwriter residing in Los Angeles, has gained recognition for his shadowy, intricately broken R&B-tinged pop compositions. His emergence came via the 2017 track "In My Head," later appearing on the 2020 EP Do You Turn Red?. Through releases such as "Tennessee" and "Talk to Me," he has persisted in refining his moodily romantic song style.

Originating from Dallas, Texas, Manos was exposed during his upbringing to the diverse recordings owned by his parents. He began playing guitar early in life and acquired piano proficiency on his own. During his high school years, original songwriting became part of his practice. While pursuing higher education in Nashville, he refined these abilities further, taking cues from musicians including James Blake, Toro y Moi, Bon Iver, among additional figures. In that setting, he initiated online sharing of his material, with "In My Head" achieving widespread attention and accumulating in excess of 300 million streams. Relocating ultimately to Los Angeles, he put out additional pieces like "Out of Love" and "You Don't Know Me." Several of these singles, "In My Head" among them, found their way onto the debut EP Do You Turn Red? from 2020. Subsequent entrancing romantic tracks arrived, such as "Tennessee" in 2021 along with "Talk to Me" and "Late Again" in 2023.
