Biography
Regy Clasen asserted herself as a notable presence on the German charts during the early 2000s through her smooth, warm vocals and R&B sensibilities. Her initial entry onto the German music scene occurred in the early '90s, when she joined the fun-loving a cappella ensemble Five Live. The group reached an unfortunate conclusion in 1997 following the death of member Conny Stahl, after which Clasen withdrew from public view for three years. Her return occurred in 2000 via the release of her debut solo album, So Nah (So Close). Clasen's second album, Wie Tief Ist das Wasser, appeared in 2004.
