Sleepy Tom

Cam Tatham, who performs as Sleepy Tom, entered the world in Squamish, British Columbia. His first EP, The Currency, arrived in early 2013 on Fool's Gold Records as a four-track set that channeled a deep house aesthetic drawn from the 1990s, pulsing with the same drive heard in Disclosure yet carrying an extra punch in the kick. The music also delivered the kind of festival-ready intensity associated with Justice and Skrillex. Operating out of Vancouver as a producer and DJ, he subsequently supplied remixes for leading EDM acts of the period such as Zeds Dead, Martin Solveig, and Diplo, whose joint effort with Sleepy Tom yielded the U.K. hit "Be Right There" in 2015.
