Biography
Smidley, which draws its name from a beloved black lab that has since passed, serves as the livelier solo outlet for Foxing frontman Conor Murphy. Triple Crown Records issued the project's debut full-length in mid-2017, following the 2015 sophomore effort Dealer from his indie rock band. Hop Along’s Joe Reinhart produced the album, which showcased contributions from fellow musicians such as Dr. Dog's Eric Slick, Tigers Jaw's Ben Walsh, and Sorority Noise's Cameron Boucher.
