Biography
Exhibiting an eccentric and unrestrained style akin to 2 Chainz or Gucci Mane within the Memphis rap community, Snootie Wild propelled his debut single "Yayo" into the Top 20 of the rap charts. K. Figz handled production on the track, which Snootie Wild issued independently in 2013. Fellow Memphis rapper Yo Gotti discovered the song and delivered a remix that incorporated his own verse, with the updated cut appearing the following year. During 2014 Snootie Wild also issued his first official project, the Go Mode EP, through the Epic-affiliated label CMG. Snootie Wild died in Houston, Texas, on February 26, 2022, at age 36.
