Biography
Formed as a trio in 1987, Italian experimental rock outfit Tazenda introduced themselves that year through the track "A Sa Zente." Their self-titled debut full-length surfaced the following year, while Murales appeared in 1991 amid nationwide touring that included a support slot for Simple Minds. Partnership with singer/songwriter Pierangelo Bertoli brought a performance at the San Remo Festival on "Spunta la Luna Dal Monte," a return appearance in 1992 with "Pitzinnos in Sa Gherra," and participation in a concert staged by Amnesty International and the Italian-Tibetan Society. After Limba the alternative act issued the live album Il Popolo Rock in 1993 and Fortza Paris in 1995. Further sessions yielded Sole Di Tazenda in 1997, Sardinia in 1998, and Bios -- Live in Ziqqurat in 2001.
