Biography
Formed in Phoenix, AZ, in 2006, Medic Droid feature three musicians who rotate responsibilities, handling beat programming, guitar, and synthesizer duties in turn. Fronted by vocalist Chris Donathon, the band blends techno with emo to produce accessible club tracks that might register as Fall Out Boy equipped with a vocoder and a copy of Reason. By harnessing MySpace's promotional reach, the trio built an online following that exceeded 100,000 friends, prompting indie label Modern Art to sign them in 2008 and schedule the June release of their first album, What's Your Medium.
