Thrive Worship

Thrive Worship, a Christian ensemble based in California, injected pop sensibilities into conventional praise and worship by weaving bright synth textures and atmospheric production through their faith-centered anthems. The group first appeared in the middle of the 2010s. Their inaugural studio album, A Thousand More, arrived in 2019 and immediately claimed the top slot on the Billboard Christian and Gospel chart. After issuing the live Let's Have Church EP in 2021, they returned to the Christian Top Ten with 2022's Pour Your Spirit Out.

The band originated in January 2014 as the worship team for Sacramento's Bayside Church, where founding members Corbin Phillips, Peter Burton, and Charmaine Wells began folding electronic, R&B, and hip-hop accents into uplifting, Christ-focused material. Several years after releasing their earliest single, "Everything," they secured a contract with Integrity Music and delivered their debut full-length, 2019's A Thousand More. The project, containing "I Still Believe (Faithful Always)" and "The Reason," entered the Billboard Christian and Gospel chart at number one and reached the Top 25 on the Billboard 200. Two years afterward they issued the concert EP Let's Have Church. Another live set, Pour Your Spirit Out, followed in 2022, capturing performances at their home venue, Bayside Church in Sacramento, and landed at number two on the Top Christian Albums chart.
