one sonic society

Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, the worship collective one sonic society unites veteran voices from contemporary Christian music, among them vocalist and songwriter Jason Ingram, guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Stuart Garrard formerly of Delirious?, and drummer Paul Mabury known for his work with Hillsong United. Delirious? bassist Jonathan Thatcher helped launch the project but departed in 2010, midway through the three-part EP series titled One, Sonic, and Society. Their first official single, the Hillsong collaboration “Forever Reign” co-written by Ingram and Reuben Morgan, climbed to number 17 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart by December 2011. That same month Essential Records issued the band’s debut full-length album, likewise titled Forever Reign. A live recording, Live at the Tracking Room, followed in 2012. The EP Make a Way surfaced in 2015 and was later reordered for release the next year under the title Great Are You Lord, spotlighting the group’s strongest success to date with the track “Great Are You Lord,” which reached the Christian Top Ten by late 2016.
