Biography
Formed in Sweden during 2012, the easycore group Abandoned by Bears centers its approach on heavy breakdowns paired with melody-rich pop-punk. Vocalists Fredric Andersson and Leon Ekelund share frontman duties alongside guitarist Jacob Devinder, bassist Gustav Eriksson, and drummer Max Fahlman. Their style occupies territory between Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! and New Found Glory. The independent EP Bear Sides arrived in 2013, followed by the 2014 full-length When Nothing Goes Right, Go Left!, whose impact prompted Victory Records to sign the band in 2015. Early 2016 then saw the release of their first album for the label, Years Ahead.
