Hailing from Los Angeles, the rapper Ambjaay deploys a delivery that stays measured yet packs intensity, achieving his breakthrough during 2019 via the infectious bilingual single “Uno.”
Raised in the Watts neighborhood, he issued his debut track “Nonstop” in August 2018. After the local success of “Shit Talker,” the EP It Cost to Live Like This surfaced in February 2019. The cumbia-influenced cut “Uno” turned into a viral phenomenon once listeners began posting their own dance clips set to the song.
