Axwell /\ Ingrosso

Axwell & Ingrosso, an electronic dance production duo from Sweden, comprises former Swedish House Mafia members Axel Christofer Hedfors, who performs as Axwell, and Sébastian Ingrosso. Their output centers on an infectious, club-ready sound, which first reached listeners in June 2014 through the single "Something New." Their debut album, More Than You Know, arrived in 2017.

The project took shape in 2014 following the breakup of Swedish House Mafia; the pair then signed with Def Jam Records and staged their initial live performance that June at the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City. Engagements at the V Festival in England and shows in India came next. Late in 2014 they unveiled two tracks, "Can't Hold Us Down" and "Something New," both featured on the EP X4. The next year brought further singles, among them "On My Way" with vocalist Salem al Fakir and "Sun Is Shining," the latter of which reached number one in Sweden.

Building on that momentum, Axwell & Ingrosso issued three singles across 2016, though the 2017 Kid Ink collaboration "I Love You" returned them to the Top Ten in their home country. The song appeared on the More Than You Know EP, which debuted at number 11 on the Billboard Top Electronic Albums chart. June 2018 saw the arrival of the single "Dancing Alone," which featured vocals by RØMANS.
