Biography
American sibling duo Ayo & Teo achieved viral success in 2017 through the release of their track "Rolex." Ayleo and Mateo Bowles, who entered the world in Ann Arbor, Michigan, absorbed early musical influences from Michael Jackson, Usher, Missy Elliot, and Chris Brown. Their dance abilities took shape during elementary school years, paving the way for a widely followed social media account that regularly launched dance challenges across platforms. One such challenge centered on "Rolex," which later surpassed 30 million YouTube streams while climbing the Billboard Hot 100. The pair first appeared under their signature bear facemasks with the 2016 single "In Reverse." They contributed choreography to Usher's "No Limit" video and performed at the 2016 BET Awards before securing a deal with Columbia Records. Early 2017 brought "Lit Right Now," though it was quickly overshadowed by the trap-infused "Rolex," whose style recalled Migos' "Bad and Boujee," Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles," and D.R.A.M.'s "Broccoli." Ayo & Teo resurfaced in 2018 with the BL$$D-produced cut "Hold My Sauce."
