Chicago rapper BigKayBeezy delivers aggressive, menacing verses as his signature style, yet he periodically shifts toward melodic vocals and R&B-flavored choruses. He started creating tracks during his teenage years, but widespread notice arrived in 2020 when the single "Bookbag" broke through, followed by a remix that added a contribution from Polo G, the chart-topping artist also from the Windy City. The 2021 album Don Juan strengthened his profile, incorporating guest spots from Sada Baby and Pooh Shiesty.

Born in 2001 and raised in Chicago, BigKayBeezy benefited from early encouragement by his father, who had participated in the city’s rap scene during the ’90s. By age 14 the younger artist was already laying down songs and posting them online, though momentum built decisively with the 2019 track “Bookbag.” The raw yet catchy number spread rapidly, prompting the 2020 release of his debut full-length GG4L. Later that same year the follow-up project Bad Intentions appeared, featuring a Polo G-assisted remix of “Bookbag.” Interscope Records signed him amid mounting streams that reached the millions. He later supplied a guest verse to one of the many remixes of SpotemGottem’s “Beat Box,” after which the third album Don Juan arrived in July 2021; alongside the appearances by Sada Baby and Pooh Shiesty, the project showed BigKayBeezy expanding his stylistic range.
