Biography
Black My Heart surfaced in 2003 as a Boston five-piece routinely labeled straight-edge metalcore, its roster drawn from splinter members of On Broken Wings. Vocalist Wheeler, guitarists Tyler Joutras and Rob Wolfe, bassist Ben Snodgrass, and drummer Keith Dece first issued an independent five-track EP titled Fuck Hearts, then secured a contract with Eulogy Recordings in 2005 that yielded the full-length album Before the Devil.
