Calle 24

Calle 24 emerged from Chihuahua as a fresh voice in Mexican Regional music. What began as a four-piece ensemble set out to merge longstanding regional traditions with forays into urban styles, yet the project gradually narrowed to the solo vision of singer-songwriter Diego Millan. The outfit’s debut release, the single “Propio Mundo,” surfaced in March 2021; that July they joined Fuerza Regida for “Que Esta Posando,” and by November they unveiled their first full-length effort, Mi Nueva Familia. The album climbed into Mexico’s Top 50 and paved the way for ten additional singles throughout 2022. A second album, Amor de le Calle, arrived in March 2023, quickly claiming the top spots on international Latin streaming rankings before several standalone tracks followed. With each amicable departure of his former bandmates, Millan came to see the creative freedom that solo performance could offer.
