Biography
Christian Chávez, the Mexican performer active in both acting and singing, first achieved visibility in the early 2000s by playing one of the central young leads on the popular series Clase 406 and Rebelde. He additionally belonged to RBD, the teen pop outfit spun off from Rebelde that later secured international success. After RBD disbanded, he issued his initial solo album, Almas transparentes (2010), though multiple controversies and scandals soon stalled his momentum. He nevertheless regained steady footing through ongoing work in television and theater, taking principal parts in stage productions such as Hoy no me puedo levantar and on series such as Netflix’s The House of Flowers.
