Biography
Erin O'Donnell, a CCM vocalist holding a jazz performance degree from the University of Miami, teamed with her husband Brad—a songwriter and bassist—to consider chasing a recording contract once her schooling ended, yet they possessed no notion of how to proceed. Participation in an online Christian music discussion group revealed the email address of Cadence Communications executive Randy Spencer; outreach followed, producing a swift signing that yielded her first album, A Scrapbook of Sorts, in 1996. Scratching the Surface arrived two years afterward, while the third project, No Place So Far, surfaced in early 2001.
