Biography
Formed in 2001 in Finspång, Sweden, the death metal outfit Facebreaker brought together vocalist Robert Karlsson, formerly of Pan-Thy-Monium and Edge of Sanity, along with guitarists Janne Ivarsson and Mika Lagren, bassist Jonas Magnusson, and drummer Mikael Wassholm. Evoking the raw essence of early-1990s Scandinavian death metal acts such as Carnage and Entombed, their first full-length release, Bloodred Hell, took shape at the renowned Black Lounge Studios during summer 2003 before appearing on Rage of Achilles Records in the early part of the next year.
