Biography
Based in San Diego, indie rock outfit Goodbye Blue Monday reinterprets the sound of 1980s new wave acts such as the Cure and U2, adapting it for present-day listeners. After the band’s debut Next Time We Stop Breathing appeared in 2003, several lineup adjustments occurred before the current roster—Matt Mournian handling vocals and guitar, Demetrius Antuna on guitar, Dario Izarraras on bass, and Jason Hooper on drums—delivered the follow-up Help Is On the Way in 2005.
