Biography
K/DA functions as an all-girl pop ensemble that exists in both virtual and physical forms within the League of Legends universe. The act introduced itself through the 2018 single “Pop/Stars.”
The lineup unites Miyeon, performing as Ahri, and Soyeon, performing as Akali—both of whom also belong to the K-pop group (G)-IDLE—alongside Madison Beer as Evelynn and Jaira Burns as Kai’Sa. Each performer embodies her respective League of Legends character, or “character skin,” inside the game itself. Riot Games unveiled the project in 2018 by debuting “Pop/Stars” live at the League of Legends championship held in Incheon, South Korea. Two years afterward, K/DA released its first EP, All Out, which featured the hit singles “More” and “The Baddest.”
