Biography
Karyn Williams, a faith-based singer and songwriter who is the eldest daughter of Pat Williams—the founder and senior vice president of the Orlando Magic—grew up in Florida. She relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2007 in order to pursue a music career. Her influences included Christian music icons such as Sandi Patty, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, and Steven Curtis Chapman. In the years that followed, she refined her songwriting and performance skills while developing a modest audience, which eventually secured her a deal with the independent CCM label Inpop; the imprint issued her debut album, Only You, in 2013.
