Biography
Operating as Kepler, the four-piece of Mike Sheridan, Jon Georgekishwatt, Samir Khan, and Weights and Measures drummer Jeremy Gara delivered a subdued yet abrasive strain of indie rock to their hometown of Ottawa. The band formed in 1997, and two years later Spectra Sonic Sound Records issued their debut single, "Between Still Sheets"/"Can You Steer By Mars?" That same year saw the arrival of the five-song CDEP This Heart Is Painted On. In 2000 the group released the CD Fuck, Fight, Fail, split evenly between new tracks and outtakes.
