Biography
In the early 2010s singer/songwriter Thad Cockrell and drummer Jeremy Lutito founded Leagues in Nashville, where the group developed its pulsing indie dance-rock style. Cockrell arrived with a handful of solo and duet albums to his credit, some recorded as a straight-up country artist, and Lutito had already toured behind Jars of Clay. Their debut album as Leagues, You Belong Here, appeared in early 2013 on Bufalotone Records and subsequently registered on the Billboard Heatseekers and Independent Albums charts. After signing with Dualtone, the band delivered the follow-up, Alone Together, in the summer of 2016.
