Regi

Born on March 4, 1976, in Hasselt, Belgium, Regi Penxten developed into a trance and electronica producer and DJ. From an early age he toyed with audio textures, which eventually prompted the release of his debut EP once he turned eighteen. Joining the club and dance outfit Milk Inc., he helped the act gain visibility after their 1997 hit single “La Vache” appeared. In the decade-plus that followed, he broadened his reach under the moniker Regi through prominent DJ engagements while also launching the first of several live Milk Inc. productions in 2006. Issued in 2007, his initial solo album REGIstrated further anchored his presence inside the regional dance and house landscape.
