Sara Diamond

From a young age, Canadian electro-pop singer Sara Diamond immersed herself in performance. Born in Montreal, she entered the children's pop collective Kidzup at five, contributing to millions of records sold by the group prior to launching her own solo project in 2008 when she turned thirteen. The following year brought recruitment by Interscope executive Jimmy Iovine for Canadian teen pop trio the Clique Girlz, an ensemble that dissolved before the year ended. Disillusioned with the industry during her late teens, Diamond devoted several quiet years to refining her skills while supplementing her work with occasional performances of the National Anthem at Montreal Canadiens hockey games. Her 2016 return introduced a more mature electronic sound through the moody synth-pop single "Just Give In," which drew notice from fresh listeners. Following a guest appearance on EDM duo Adventure Club's "Firestorm," she issued the 2017 singles "Back to You" and "Unsure."
