The Korean pop act Tomorrow X Together, shortened to TXT, crafts lighthearted tracks that draw from a broad palette of sounds spanning disco through indie rock. Big Hit Entertainment positioned the quintet as its second boy band after BTS, unveiling the members to global audiences at the start of 2019. Their introductory EP, The Dream Chapter: Star, immediately claimed multiple Billboard rankings and secured TXT the distinction of achieving both the quickest entry and the strongest opening position ever recorded by a male K-pop ensemble. The full-length follow-up The Dream Chapter: Magic extended their reach further across Asia and the United States. After the Japanese release Still Dreaming reached the summit, the group attained another milestone with the 2021 sophomore album The Chaos Chapter: Freeze, only to surpass that achievement in 2022 via the fourth EP Minisode 2: Thursday's Child. Two chapters under the new Name series appeared throughout 2023 as Temptation and Freefall, while The Star Chapter: Sanctuary sustained their streak of number-one placements the following year.

Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai form the lineup that the label formally introduced in late 2018 before revealing each identity in the ensuing months. The five-piece launched publicly in March 2019 through the single “Crown,” which shattered streaming benchmarks, alongside the EP The Dream Chapter: Star that simultaneously led Billboard’s Emerging Artists, World Albums, and World Digital Song Sales tallies. That five-track collection merged ’90s-revival pop and R&B with dance-forward momentum shaped by Slow Rabbit, the Futuristics, and additional producers. TXT closed out the year by delivering their first Korean chart-topping studio album, The Dream Chapter: Magic, whose lead track “9 and Three Quarters (Run Away)” climbed to number two on the U.S. chart and paved the way for 2020 releases The Dream Chapter: Eternity and Minisode1: Blue Hour. Both projects topped Japanese rankings, with the latter also heading the Billboard World chart after incorporating contributions from Lennon Stella and Charli XCX. The Dream series received fresh momentum through the 2021 Japanese debut album Still Dreaming, another chart leader featuring the single “Force.” Later the same year the ensemble inaugurated its next era with The Chaos Chapter: Freeze, whose hit collaboration “0x1=Lovesong (I Know I Love You)” with Seori propelled the set to number one in both Korea and Japan while also registering on the U.S. World Albums chart. The year closed with the Japanese EP Chaotic Wonderland, containing a new rendering of “0x1” alongside Lilas Ikuta of Yoasobi plus the group’s first original English song, “Magic.”

Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child arrived in 2022 and delivered TXT’s strongest U.S. placement to date by debuting at number four on the Billboard 200. The concise collection again highlighted their versatility, moving from the assertive dance-pop of “Good Boy Gone Bad” to the introspective piano tones of “Trust Fund Baby.” The Name Chapter: Temptation, their fifth EP, surfaced in January 2023. Additional Japanese material followed with Sweet, which revisited “Good Boy Gone Bad” alongside new tracks such as “Hydrangea Love” and “Ito.” Freefall extended the Name series later that year, incorporating the nu-metal-edged “Growing Pain,” a Jonas Brothers appearance on “Do It Like That,” and production from Rock Mafia and Ryan Tedder. The Minisode sequence resumed in 2024 with minisode 3: TOMORROW, while The Star Chapter: Sanctuary, another dual chart-topper in Korea and Japan, emerged in November.
