Young Miko

Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko pairs bold verses on intimacy, substances, and urban routines with an assured delivery that moves fluidly from laid-back phrasing to heightened, theatrical phrasing. Early tracks and consistent online engagement built her following, leading to the 2022 release of her first EP, Trap Kitty. Her profile rose further in 2024 when “Young Miko: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 58” entered the Hot Latin Songs Chart and her debut full-length album, Att., arrived.

Born in Añasco, Young Miko developed her acoustic guitar skills independently while enrolled at the University of Puerto Rico. Her initial material drew from rap, reggaeton, and rock traditions. The 2021 trap release “105 Freestyle,” produced by Caleb Calloway and Mauro, marked her first public appearance and was succeeded by cuts such as “Vendetta” featuring Villano Antillano and “Puerto Rican Mami.” She regularly shared footage of her songwriting sessions and daily life via social platforms. Additional 2022 collaborations included “Un Poquito” with Alejo and “Castigada” alongside Catalyna and Cory, preceding the arrival of Trap Kitty. In 2023 she reached the Billboard Hot 100 with “Classy 101,” and the following year “Young Miko: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 58” peaked at number 20 on the Hot Latin Songs Chart. April 2024 brought the full-length debut Att., which featured the single “Curita” and guest appearances by Dei V, Feid, Elena Rose, and additional artists.
