Biography
Emerging in 2006 from the Quad Cities region, hard rock outfit 3 Years Hollow developed a style that fuses melodic contours with forceful impact. The group consists of vocalist Jose Urquiza, guitarists Tony Reeves and Neil Kuhlman, bassist Dex Digga, and drummer Chris Cushman. Maintaining weight without diminishing melodic drive, the musicians steadily attracted listeners while recalling the approach of established acts such as Sevendust and Chevelle. Their first release appeared in 2008 as the independently distributed album Ascension. The EP Remember arrived four years afterward in 2012. A subsequent agreement with Imagen Records brought about the second full-length effort, The Cracks, in 2014.
