Growing up in Flowery Branch, Georgia, Andrew Jannakos emerged from a sizable Greek and Italian household steeped in music. As a country artist adept at blending modern polish with classic twang, he gained traction on social platforms following his stint as a contestant during the 2019 edition of The Voice. His early twenties saw him performing at open mikes, leading to an audition for the show's sixteenth season where he aligned with Maroon 5's Adam Levine before an early elimination. This exposure fueled his online presence, culminating in over 700,000 followers by the time his debut single arrived. In 2020, "Gone Too Soon" achieved placement on the Billboard Hot 100, securing him a Sony Music Nashville agreement and establishing mainstream appeal. That same year brought the standalone holiday release "White Christmas."
