Ashley Cleveland

Ashley Cleveland, the earthy Christian rocker, launched her professional path in the mid-'80s as a Nashville session vocalist whose voice appeared on well over 200 albums. She later tracked a personal demo with drummer/producer Craig Krampf, an effort that earned her a deal with Atlantic and culminated in the 1991 release of her debut album Big Town. Cleveland next shifted to the Reunion label for 1993's Bus Named Desire; two years after that project, Lesson of Love secured her first Grammy Award.
