Biography
Avenue Beat's polished sonic textures, luminous tunes, and precise vocal blends highlight the pop essence within their country-pop style. Their empowering self-titled debut EP, which came out in 2019, showcased tracks such as "Be a Bro," a song celebrating girl code.
Avenue Beat originated from three companions—Sami Bearden, Savana Santos, and Sam Backoff—who hailed from Quincy, Illinois, and connected through shared passions for social media, theater, and music. Following high school graduation, the group relocated to Nashville as a unit. Upon turning 21, the members inked a deal with Valory Music Co., an imprint of Big Machine Records, and dropped their inaugural single "Ruin That for Me" in tandem with the four-track Avenue Beat EP during the middle of 2019. Santos, alongside David Garcia (known for work with Carrie Underwood and TobyMac) and Ashley Gorley (associated with Trace Adkins), handled production duties on the project. This release earned them a spot on Rascal Flatts' planned 2020 farewell tour. Later in 2020, the act achieved streaming success via "F2020," while 2021 began with the issuance of "Woman." These songs both featured on Debut Farewell Album, the band's inaugural long-player from 2021.
