Shortly after the track gained traction through streaming services, the band performed at England's All Points East and Leeds Festivals, building further attention throughout 2023 and 2024 via independent singles such as "u come near," "spinnin 88" from the EP i just want next year to be better, "Kill Me," and "Breathe." The album 1 was issued in July, followed by the release of "Pretty Boy, Pt. 2" which includes a feature from Zino Vinci.
