Biography
Hailing from Orlando, Florida, Bellarive crafts a dense fusion of richly detailed, shape-shifting indie pop and anthemic Christian rock, a sound that has invited comparisons to the Rend Collective Experiment, MuteMath, and the David Crowder Band. The quintet came together in 2009 through the combined efforts of Sean Curran, Melissa Mage, Mike Mage, Josh Luker, and Kenny Werner, releasing an initial EP that year before securing a contract with Sparrow Records, the imprint that later issued the group’s 2012 debut long-player The Heartbeat as well as 2014’s Before There Was.
