Biography
Hailing from Waco, Texas, the Digital Age serves as a four-piece Christian rock outfit assembled from four of the six musicians who had comprised the David Crowder Band before its 2012 disbandment: Jack Parker (guitar, Rhodes piano, banjo, vocals), Jeremy Bush (drums, percussion), Mike Dodson (bass, piano, keyboards, vocals), and Mark Waldrop (guitar, mandolin, percussion, vocals). Without Crowder in the lead role, the group assumes a markedly different identity, as Dodson and Waldrop shoulder the bulk of the vocal work, frequently in harmony, yet the Digital Age remains equally adept at conveying spiritual-based material through a secular electronic rock sound. The band issued the EP Rehearsals during spring 2012 and followed it with the full-length Evening:Morning toward the close of summer 2013.
