Biography
Boys World is an all-female group whose sound blends exuberant energy with R&B-tinged pop. Their influences range from Spice Girls to Beyoncé and Fifth Harmony, and they introduced themselves to listeners through the 2021 EP While You Were Out.
The Los Angeles–based act came together in 2019, its name an acronym for “Best Of Yourself.” Its members are singers Olivia Ruby, Queenie Mae Villaluz, Lillian Kay, Elana Caceres, and Makhyli Simpson. KYN Entertainment discovered each of them separately through online platforms and assembled them into a single unit. Their first single, “Girlfriends,” appeared in October 2020; the While You Were Out EP followed in April 2021 and also featured the tracks “Wingman” and “Tiptoe.”
