Cabezones

In 1994 the Argentinean heavy metal foursome Cabezones originated, promptly cutting their debut album Electroshock for the independent label Pinhead Records and then mounting a tour across the country. Following their inclusion of “Promesas” and “Buscando Una Salida” on a compilation, the group tracked Hijos De Una Nueva Tierra, which the domestic imprint Mentes Abiertas released in 1997. Two years afterward the band secured a contract with Sony Music, yielding 2000’s Alas produced by Zeta Bosio, formerly of Soda Stereo. That same year Cabezones opened for Iron Maiden, Rob Halford, and Queens of the Stone Age at a major rock event in Buenos Aires.
