Dan Bremnes

Born in Kamloops, British Columbia, Dan Bremnes grew up in the modest community of Salmon Arm after his father, a pastor, founded Living Waters Community Church there. A versatile Canadian CCM artist recognized for his work as a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, he first gained notice as a skilled drummer equally at home behind the kit in nightclubs or during worship services. He later added guitar to his skills and started composing original material. His debut effort, the independently issued Your Strength, appeared in 2010. Three years afterward, the tracks “Hear Your Voice” and “After All” helped secure him two Covenant Awards, one for Male Vocalist of the Year and another for Music Video of the Year. He joined the roster of Sparrow in 2014 and delivered the album Where the Light Is, which earned a Juno Award in the Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year category. Bremnes moved to Word Entertainment in 2017; the following year he unveiled his third studio release, Wherever I Go, featuring the songs “Up Again” and “Going Together.”
