David Dunn

Originating from Texas, Christian singer-songwriter David Dunn now makes his home in Nashville. During engineering coursework at Texas Tech University, he took the stage at churches and coffeehouses while issuing a self-titled EP in 2009. The year after graduation, a demanding 13-month humanitarian assignment in Africa crystallized his resolve to devote himself to music. In 2012 he competed on season two of NBC’s The Voice and completed the EPs For the Life of Me and This Is Christmas. A deal with BEC followed, yielding the 2014 Crystal Clear EP as his label introduction; the full-length Crystal Clear appeared the next year and spotlighted the single “Today Is Beautiful.” The 2016 track “I Wanna Go Back” introduced Dunn’s second album, Yellow Balloons, whose songs drew from childhood recollections, images of heaven, and the passing of his niece before BEC issued the project in early 2017.
