Danny Summer

Emerging from Hong Kong as a guitarist, singer, and songwriter in rock, Danny Summer maintained his reach from the 1980s deep into the following century. Both global audiences and critical praise came his way, prompting some observers to call him the Rock & Roll Godfather of Hong Kong. His first solo recording appeared in 1979, after which he launched international tours with the Visa Band across the 1980s. Steady album output marked his path, joined at intervals by concert DVDs such as oM Live 2007.
