DJ Gan-G

At the age of thirteen, Berlin-based DJ Gan-G first tried his hand at turntables. Footage from prominent competitions such as DMC and ITF prompted this Persian-born enthusiast to start amassing records while sharpening his technique on the decks. His entry into the 2001 ITF event earned him a finalist slot representing Germany and effectively launched his professional path. In the years that followed, he grew into a highly requested club DJ supporting international headliners including Lumidee, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, and Yukmouth. Those connections led him to establish the Major Movez agency in 2004, handling bookings and promotion for numerous European and American hip-hop artists. Through the agency’s label division, DJ Gan-G has issued several notable joint releases, among them 2008’s Still Major with Kool Savas and the ongoing Maskulin Mixtape series spotlighting multiple roster acts from Major Movez.
