DJ Scheme

South Florida producer DJ Scheme shaped numerous tracks into chart-topping successes for XXXTentacion, Ski Mask the Slump God, and Juice WRLD. Beyond these production efforts, he ventured into performing under his own name, issuing the star-packed 2020 album Family among other projects.

Born Gabriel Guerra in Palm Beach, Florida during 1997, he initially experimented with several instruments before encountering Southern Florida's Wifisfuneral, an encounter that redirected his focus toward beat-making. By 2014, DJ Scheme was already contributing productions to Wifisfuneral's material, which led him to connect with additional MCs throughout the tight-knit regional hip-hop community. In subsequent years he crafted beats for Kid Trunks, Ski Mask the Slump God, and Craig Xen while delivering major successes through his work with longtime associate XXXTentacion. His debut solo outing came in 2019 via the three-track Preseason EP, which showcased appearances from Danny Towers, Lil Yachty, and Ski Mask the Slump God. A full-length studio album followed in 2020 with the heavily featured Family, a seventeen-song collection that placed prominent guests on nearly every cut, among them Cordae, Ty Dolla $ign, Skrillex, and additional high-profile names. The project's deluxe edition surfaced in 2021 and added the track "Buck 50," spotlighting the late rapper and vocalist Juice WRLD.
