Ronsocold

North Carolinian artist Ronsocold blends his highly melodic Auto-Tuned rap style with detail-rich production and futuristic instrumentals. After gaining fresh listeners by serving as an opening act on Lil Tecca’s tour, he progressed rapidly from multiple mixtape releases to issuing a self-titled debut studio album in 2020.

Born Aaron Gilmore in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1995, Ronsocold took up rapping near the age of 21 and generated early attention within Charlotte’s vibrant rap scene through his initial singles along with the 2018 mixtapes So Cold and 808s & Bullshit. Drawing influence from rappers such as Playboi Carti and Young Thug, he cultivated a highly melodic vocal style while devoting extra care and consideration to his instrumental choices. During 2019 he joined Lil Tecca on tour, introducing new legions of fans to his distinctive sound and personality. The following year Ronsocold delivered his first full-length studio album, a self-titled set containing 15 songs and no guest features.
