Lil Eazzyy, a Chicago rapper whose delivery comes across as sharply concentrated and resolute, recounts his encounters with substances and aggression across songs that stretch from aggressive drill to tuneful, auto-tuned trap. His breakthrough arrived in 2020 via the viral single "Onna Come Up," which launched his first EP, Underrated. Following the 2021 mixtape Rookie of the Year, he issued his first full-length project with 2022’s Too Eazzyy.

Raised on Chicago’s south side, Lil Eazzyy relocated to the suburbs alongside his mother during his teenage years. Exposure to local artists such as G Herbo and Chief Keef drew him into hip-hop, prompting a steady commitment to refining his craft. By senior year of high school he was devoting nearly all available hours to studio sessions. Singles began appearing in 2020, and the track "Onna Come Up"—initially captured as an impromptu freestyle inside a car—quickly spread online, drawing attention from major labels. The song was included on his debut EP, Underrated. Eazzyy followed with the 2021 mixtape Rookie of the Year and then his first album; released in 2022, Too Eazzyy included appearances by Shoebox Baby and NLE Choppa.
