Quin NFN stands out for his swift, combative rhymes yet remains equally potent when shifting into unhurried, tuneful flows, allowing the Austin, Texas-based rapper to reach listeners well beyond his hometown through cuts such as "Game Time, Pt. 2" (2017) and "Talkin' My Shit" (2019).

Northeast Austin native Quinlan McAfee began writing rhymes in childhood, drawing primary inspiration from Lil Wayne, and grew more dedicated to the craft shortly before entering high school. Recognition stayed confined to the local scene until 2017, when Say Cheese TV placed his video for "Game Time, Pt. 2" on the outlet’s YouTube channel. He set aside his remaining high school coursework to focus on music and, in 2018, issued multiple commercial singles that included the third and fourth installments of "Game Time" while making his debut appearance at Austin’s SXSW festival. Releases continued at a steady pace through 2019 alongside a second SXSW slot, during which "Talkin' My Shit" emerged as one of his rawest and most widely embraced recordings.
