Dylan Conrique has built a reputation as both an actress and a vocalist whose romantic, upbeat pop songs define much of her output. She portrayed Kayla on the Brat Network series Chicken Girls and later took on the role of Tamara in ABC’s The Rookie, while issuing the EP Baby Blue in 2020 and issuing standalone singles such as the 2022 tracks “Birthday Cake” and “I miss you (skin to skin),” each of which accumulated millions of streams.

Born in Gilroy, California, in 2004, she spent her childhood in the Sacramento region with her sister, Taylor, and her older brother, actor Caden Conrique. After beginning dance classes she developed a passion for performance and secured her debut acting part at age three in an episode of the television program The World’s Astonishing News. Subsequent credits included a guest spot on Henry Danger and an appearance in the 2016 television film Weird Wild Wonderful Days of School. In 2017 she landed the part of Kayla on Chicken Girls, a role she would play across four seasons alongside her brother Caden. Around the same period she began sharing her own music online, posting covers of material by Shawn Mendes, Alessia Cara, Little Mix, and additional artists.

Her first original composition, “Heartbeat,” arrived in February 2017, followed a year later by “No Better.” Additional singles were later collected on the September 2020 EP Baby Blue. That same year marked the conclusion of her Chicken Girls tenure, after which she secured a recurring part on The Rookie that began airing in 2021. Further releases that year comprised the duet “Bitter” with Noak Hellsing and the track “Advice from the Internet.” In 2022 she issued the piano ballad “Birthday Cake,” then “I miss you (skin to skin)” and “ugly,” among other songs that continued to elevate her standing within the pop landscape.
