Foreveratlast, the Indianapolis, Indiana punk outfit, first surfaced in 2008 even though its origins extend to 2005. Drummer Jared Paris and guitarist Jordan Vickers, each previously active in separate local groups, laid the foundation and brought vocalist Brittany Paris aboard that same year. Their opening EP, 2009’s Welcome to Lost Cause: Population Zero, fused pop-punk buoyancy with post-hardcore edge and growls. The 2012 full-length February to February, their debut proper album, intensified likenesses to Paramore and Hawthorne Heights. After signing with Victory Records in 2014, the band issued its second LP the next year. Ghosts Again—whose name the members characterized as a reference to the condition “before birth and after death”—was helmed by producer Matt Goldman (Underoath, Anberlin) and featured the single “Bad Blood.” Their sonic approach had grown more refined, marked by a clear drop in hardcore screaming. Early 2016 saw the trio expand to a quartet when touring bassist Seth Brown was made an official member.
