Ghost Town originated in 2012 with a taste for pop hooks alongside a taste for the macabre. Hollywood, California, serves as the group’s base, where they fuse EDM and dubstep textures with metal riffs and conventional pop structures to produce a sheen that remains simultaneously polished and serrated. The lineup consists of vocalist Kevin Ghost, guitarist Alix Monster, drummer MannYtheDrummeR, electronics mastermind Evan Pearce, and artist Alister Dippner, who manages every aspect of the band’s visual presentation. Their first release, Party in the Graveyard, surfaced in early 2013 and was later reissued the same year once the group secured a deal with Fueled by Ramen. Also in 2013 came the remix EP Bare Bones, which offered acoustic versions of tracks from the debut. Their second album, After Party, arrived in mid-2014. Pearce revealed his exit the following year, citing health concerns, after which Ghost Town continued as a trio and delivered their third full-length, Evolution, toward the end of 2015.
